Finding the right doula for my birthing experience was at the top of my to-do list once we found out we were expecting our first child. Having someone I could trust and connect with on a personal and spiritual level was key for me. I read through a ton of doula profiles but Bailey’s experience with hypnobirthing, acupressure and holistic healing practices is what stood out for me and I was determined to hire her as my doula. Bailey is extremely knowledgeable and never tried to impose her opinions on us. The birthing of our daughter was a partnership. Being a first time mom, with no idea of what to expect, she gave me all the confidence I needed to relax and labor at home and to deliver my baby safely (all natural) in the hospital. The birth of my daughter will always be an experience I will never forget and I cannot thank Bailey enough for the advocacy and comfort she provided me and family before, during and after birth. Bailey was such a wonderful partner for the birth of our daughter and for my recovery. Our prenatal sessions with Bailey were extremely informative, and she helped us develop a clear vision of the type of birth that we wanted and a plan for how to prepare for it. With Bailey's prenatal support, I was able to labor at home until I was nearly fully dilated. While at the hospital, Bailey was a calming and encouraging presence for both my husband and me, also working collaboratively with the medical team. Throughout the entire process, including postpartum, Bailey has only been a text away for all of our first-time parent questions. Bailey was like a supportive sister for me throughout the process, which was especially important with my family being out of state and unable to visit in the pandemic.

Bailey Rollins is a gifted, knowledgeable, and caring doula. Her experience and passion for her craft was more than I could ask for when she supported my wife and I for the birth of our two sons. Our first son was a planned home birth and we ended up going to the hospital because my wife went into labor a few weeks early. We decided to stay in the hospital after the doctors told us our baby was ok and not underweight. Bailey fully supported us in staying at the hospital and supported me in navigating the communication with the doctors so my wife could have as stress free labor as possible. Bailey supported us as new parents after our first son was born and continued to demonstrate her care and wisdom. With the birth of our second son during the pandemic Bailey encouraged us to do a home birth and I am so glad we followed her suggestion. Bailey supported us in having a beautiful, magical, and sacred birthing experience (as we did with our first son) and supported us both through a forty hour labor. Her love, directness, and warmth helped create a space where we both felt held and seen. Bailey is tremendously gifted and skilled in her craft snd we feel lucky she was part of both of our birthing teams.

Bailey was a visionary doula that inspired and held my sacred birth journey within a container of passionate wisdom, mindful research and razor sharp intuition. From the very beginning she provided some important literature that set the stage for some of the most powerful and important decisions I'll make in this lifetime. At birth, she was a fierce guardian of my natural process and an advocate for my family's health and safety when the pressure was on. Up against much resistance, we made hospital birth ecstatic, sacred and natural. We left feeling elated and triumphant with a strong healthy newborn son in our arms! Postpartum, Bailey jumped right in to assist my partner when emergency left little other help available, and still visits our son to this day. He is vibrant, peaceful and strong as they come.

I personally recommend you have a moment to talk with her on video chat if you are a parent and homeschooling now. Mainly after a wonderful but also challenging day, with my now 3 1/2 year old son, (Bailey was also with us for birth and postpartum). Bailey was able to give me so many advisory tips on how to take an approach that will leave my son feeling secure, confident, and in control. I felt heard and truly empowered to take the reins and be proactive at making some adjustments to the way I organize myself and layout the possibilities for his day. These simple adjustments not only support his learning and development but also are seamless in that he can have fun doing what he loves most about his day while I can continuously work and be confident that he is learning and at ease.

Bailey is a child scientist that specializes in child development and I am supremely proud to have her in my corner.

We especially appreciated the pre and post delivery consultations and the fact that she was always available for questions via text/email/phone. During labor and delivery Bailey's calm demeanor was a godsend for both my husband and I. Her recommendations for massage techniques, labor positions and use of aromatherapy were a huge help with keeping us on track with our birth plan. She also provided my husband with techniques to help me through my surges which allowed him to be very involved and made the experience more special for us both. We also used Bailey's placenta services and are very happy with the products. I feel like the capsules have helped me manage postpartum hormone changes and the balm was really helpful for nipple irritation. She also provided us with placenta prints and a heart keepsake out of the umbilical cord which is a sweet touch. I would (and have!) highly recommend Bailey!
